styrax family
The Styrax or Styracaceae family is a small family of flowering plants containing 11 genera and about 160 species of trees and shrubs. It occurs in warm temperate and subtropical regions of the Northern Hemisphere.
It contains the silverbell (Halesia), parasol tree (Melliodendron), epaulette (Pterostyrax) and snowbell (Styrax) genera.
