tea family
The tea or Theaceae family is composed of shrubs and trees, including the camellias. Most of its genera are evergreen (like the Camellia) but members of Stewartia are deciduous.
Most teas in the world are produced from one species of camellia, Camellia sinensis, which has numerous varieties.
