Zelkova sicula

Cretan zelkova is in the elm or Ulmaceae family, with the only known population of several hundred plants growing in the Monti Iblei area of Buccheri, in southeast Sicily, Italy.

It is a medium-sized deciduous shrub growing to about 3 m tall.
