Pterocarya x rehderiana

The Rehder wingnut tree (Pterocarya x rehderiana) is a hybrid wingnut tree created at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston in 1879 by crossing P. fraxinifolia and P. stenoptera.

It is considered to be faster growing, more vigorous and hardier that either of its parents.
