Phellodendron lavallei

The Lavallei cork tree is recorded on some sites as a distinct species and on others as a variety of Phellodendron amurense (i.e., Phellodendron amurense var. lavallei). However, this has not been confirmed on sites such as eFloras.org or Wikipedia.

The author identifies this as a separate species as reported by the well-recognized Arboretum Wespelaar in Belgium until this becomes clarified by other sources.
