Tamarix ramosissima

It can tolerate high levels of salt in the soil and is often viewed as an invasive species in warmer climates.

- Leaves are deciduous, pale green, unusual feathery, scale-like.
- Flowers are small, pink, 5-petal, in showy, upright racemes of from late summer to early autumn.
- Fruit is a dry capsule that splits open to release abundant seeds.
