Salix matsudana Tortuosa

Salix matsudana 'Tortuosa' is synonymous with and sometimes sold as Salix babylonica var. pekinensis 'Tortuosa'.
- Leaves are lanciolate, up to 10 cm long, curled and twisted; they are bright green above and whitish-green below, turning golden yellow in the fall.
- Flowers are non-showy, in yellowish green catkins that appear in May.
- Branches also are twisted and contorted.
