Pyrus calleryana

- Leaves are alternate, simple, oval, up to 8 cm long, glossy dark green.
- Flowers are white, about 2.5 cm across with 5 petals.
- Fruit is light brown, round, small (less than 1 cm in diameter), softening late in the fall and developing a pear taste.
