The Ching’s viburnum is a shrub in the moschatel or Adoxaceae family, native of southwestern China, and growing to 4 m in height.

  • Leaves are semi-evergreen, simple, opposite, ovate, toothed.
  • Flowers are fragrant, pink or white, trumpet-like, in small drooping sprays.
  • Berries are red, turning bluish and black in late winter.
