Wigandia caracasana

The Caracus wigandia plant is in the borage or Boraginaceae family and is native to Central America. It is an ornamental plant and can reach up to 3 m tall.

• It is very attractive, with large rounded deciduous leaves and large heads of small purple-blue flowers about 2.5 cm across.
